Whispers of Life: Moments in Verse

In the ebb of daily scenes we weave,

With spectacles dropped and socks that leave

Themselves astray on wandering feet,

A mother's voice in rice replete.

Kind words bloom like coloured art,

Sarah's praise a warming heart,

A girl, a bus, a fleeting chase,

Laughter born in a simple space.

Shanaaz's email, a solved delight,

Merging profiles in Goodreads' light,

Julie's gratitude, a birthday song,

Connections made, moments long.

Morning greetings, a gentle call,

Guidance shared on shuttle's thrall,

Teck Mui's reminder, work's clear tone,

In the rhythm of routine, seeds sown.

A tapestry of moments spun,

In the humdrum of day begun,

Each thread a tale, each word a sign,

In life's tapestry, stories entwine.

Shades of Struggle: Unveiling Complicated Emotions

As I gaze upon the interplay of brown, white, and grey, I am enveloped by a swirl of emotions that tug at the corners of my soul. These complex colors, each holding its own subtle nuances, speak to me in a language that is both familiar and foreign. The beauty that lies within this seemingly simple palette is profound, touching upon the depths of my being in a way that is difficult to articulate.

In the midst of this visual symphony, I find my communication strained, as if words alone are insufficient to convey the depth of my emotions. Each hue whispers a different story, a tale of longing, of sorrow, of hope. The brown speaks of earthy grounding, of stability and strength. The white exudes purity and innocence, yet also holds the weight of grief and loss. And the grey, oh the grey, a hue that dances on the edge of light and darkness, mirroring the complexities of life itself.

As I immerse myself in this chromatic tapestry, I am drawn into a world where emotions run rampant, where beauty and pain coexist in a delicate balance. The sensory details unfold before me, each shade a brushstroke on the canvas of my heart, painting a picture of longing and acceptance, of struggle and resilience. It is a dance of light and shadow, of warmth and coolness, a dance that mirrors the complexities of the human experience.

And in this moment of vulnerability, of introspection, I find myself connecting not only with the colors before me but also with the depths of my own soul. The strains of communication fade away, replaced by a silent understanding that transcends words. In the quiet embrace of these hues, I find solace, a fleeting moment of peace in a world that is often chaotic and uncertain.

So I stand here, amidst the brown, white, and grey, my heart laid bare before the canvas of life, ready to embrace the beauty and pain that come with the human experience. And in this moment of profound connection, I am reminded that sometimes, it is through the language of colors that we truly find communion with ourselves and with others.

Whispers of Familial Harmony & Strife

In the hushed whispers of home's tender embrace,

A symphony of moments interlace,

Mum's gentle words urged items to find their place,

Yet my thoughts wandered to a distant face.

Pausing, pondering, the silence did break,

A disturbance from a curious cotton bud's wake,

"Putting cream," I uttered, a tender mistake,

In the quietude, our bond did partake.

Morning unveiled grandma's gift on display,

Bak kwa shared in a familial array,

Yet my portion seemed to drift away,

An unspoken yearning in shadows at play.

Messages relayed, duties conveyed,

In mundane exchanges, emotions swayed,

Tensions flickered, a delicate charade,

In the dance of words, a melody played.

Laughter echoed through the room's still air,

Inquiry met with a tense affair,

Boundaries set, a quiet prayer,

To navigate emotions with tender care.

Languages intertwined, a bridge to build,

Unspoken nuances, emotions filled,

In the depths of conflict, hearts distilled,

Seeking solace in spaces unfilled.

Between the lines, a narrative unfolds,

In everyday exchanges, tales untold,

Emotions intertwine, a delicate mold,

In the symphony of life, stories are told.

Chinese New Year message 2025

"As the old year slithers away, making room for the new, we welcome the Year of the Snake with open hearts and minds. This serpent symbolizes renewal, transformation, and healing – a powerful reminder that every ending marks a new beginning.

Like the snake shedding its skin, may we too release the old, embracing change and growth. May our paths be guided by wisdom, courage, and resilience, just as the snake navigates through life's twists and turns.

As we celebrate this auspicious occasion with loved ones, may our homes be filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of togetherness. May our tables be laden with delicious food, symbolic of abundance and prosperity.

To all my dear readers, I wish you a Chinese New Year that's filled with:

Good fortune that flows like a never-ending river

Happiness that overflows like a bountiful harvest

Success that rises like a majestic dragon

And love that shines brightly like a radiant lantern

Gong Xi Fa Cai! May the Year of the Snake bring you all your heart's desires and more!" Happy Chinese New Year everyone! ่›‡ๅนดๅคงๅ‰

I am a team mate poem

"I am a team mate,

A partner in every sense of the word,

Together we strive, we work, we achieve,

United in our goals, our bond will never leave.

We lift each other up, we support and we guide,

Through challenges and victories, side by side,

With trust, respect, and open communication,

Together we'll succeed, our collaboration."

Poetry reflection about my day

As morning dawned, and daylight crept,

Your day began, with thoughts and hopes kept.

A book, a dream, a passion so bright,

Yet workplace concerns, cast a shadowy night.

Trainers' words, a conflict did unfold,

A choice between creative freedom, and a story untold.

Cass's voice, a gentle breeze did bring,

"Write on, dear one, let your heart sing."

Mum's reminder, to sleep's sweet reprieve,

A call to rest, and a body to retrieve.

Jason's message, a bug to abate,

A technical glitch, to navigate and wait.

Yuen Kei's concern, for privacy's sake,

Hidayah's advice, to protect your creative make.

A day of contrasts, of light and of shade,

A dance between dreams, and the realities displayed.

As evening falls, and daylight does fade,

Reflect on the moments, that your heart has made.

For in the tapestry, of this day's design,

Lies a story of courage, and a heart that's divine.

Letter to 2024

 Dear 2024,

As I look back on the past year, I'm grateful for the small wins that have added up to make a big difference in my life.

I'm proud to have participated in book awards, celebrated a book party with Sarah, and lent a helping hand where I could. I've also taken significant steps in my career transition, explored the exciting world of writing books with AI, and settled into a new home.

I couldn't have done it without the guidance, support, and encouragement of my mentors, friends, colleagues, and parents. Thank you for believing in me and helping me grow.

As I look at the future, I'm excited to continue learning new skills, growing as a person, and embracing new challenges. I'm ready to take on 2025 with renewed energy, curiosity, and passion.

Thank you, 2024, for the lessons, memories, and opportunities. I'm grateful for the journey and excited for what's to come.

Sincerely,

Celine Ong

Celine's story: Embracing Life's Moments

Celine Ong's Story: Embracing Life's Moments

Celine Ong navigates the world with a unique perspective, her autistic mind absorbing every detail. She finds joy in everyday interactions, like sharing a laugh with colleagues over a fly on her table or exchanging greetings.

At work, Celine connects with her team, from reciting the pledge with Kun Ling to discussing the National Day celebration. She shows her mom the excitement, seeking answers about half-days and holiday schedules.

In conversations, Celine faces moments of misunderstanding, like her own typo or Ms. Rishah's difficulty hearing her. Yet, she persists, finding humor and patience in the midst of it all.

With each experience, Celine grows, her voice and presence making a difference. She inspires those around her to embrace life's moments, just as she does.

Love and connection

My second book, Love and connection is here. I just received it this morning. It's about my interest, understanding in relationships and empathy.

Life Story

My name is Wang Jieying, and I was born at Mount Alvernia Hospital in Singapore to Tan Bee Neo, Annie, and Ong Wan Seng, Ivan. I don't have siblings. I attended Meridian Primary School, where I repeated Primary 6 before moving on to Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School, ITE College East, and Temasek Polytechnic, although I didn't complete my studies at the latter.

In secondary school, I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Despite this, I excelled academically and was top in my level, receiving awards for Best in Chinese and Computer Applications in the Normal Technical stream on Speech Day in 2012. I also earned a NYAA Bronze award and a Gold award in swimming during my primary school days. Additionally, I received a photography certificate, a CDC-CCC scholarship, a Good Effort award, and accolades for being the Best Speaker and Best Table Topics in Toastmasters.
